I was almost through the wreckage at the start. I was being patient and careful, when Steve Carney comes across the track to the apex of the next turn. This was an unsafe rejoin on his part, as he was already involved in a wreck on the other side of the track before crossing the track to take out me and Glyn Cooper.

If you had no rear wing, just park it!
15.9 - Drivers that suffer an accident that results in the loss of the rear wing, a wheel, or the engine, will have to abandon the currently running session (Q1, Q2, or race) immediately.

After the glitchy accident my car was pointing straight, i tried to go and the car abruptly veered left due to all the damage.
i was'nt trying to take anyone out.
I thought the 12hr was up so i did'nt check to see if there were protests going on, i accept the penalty.

As a suggestion - if you have the info display up at the start that displays the tire and chassis info you can see when you've lost a front or rear wing or have severe (dark blue) it may help.

Also since when are points down to 12th place?

I know you didn't mean to take us out, just using this situation to set an example. Like Bill said, if you're in a bad wreck, check your cars for wings and tires right away before continuing.

If you can Mug someone in Mugello for just a 10 sec penalty, then we got some muggin to do in Imola.

As long as I create an 11 second gap over 3rd place, I can easily overshoot my brake mark, "lose control", punt leader off track and win the race... Dang this season just got easier! Thanks for the tips on how it's done, McLaren elites! Buahahahahajajaja
