Incident to protest
Montero and Freitas I believe
Take a look cheers
If you are involved in the incident with a car you should protest it. When Argenis rammed me from behind it was between him and I. If anyone should protest it, it should have been me. So if you were in contact with a car Harto, THAT is who you should protest.
So I will take Mat Harto's protest and use it where it is needed.
A lapped Harto Re-enters unsafely to track and causes me to take evasive action off track while racing his teammate Richard Walcott.
I was almost through the wreckage at the start. I was being patient and careful, when Steve Carney comes across the track to the apex of the next turn. This was an unsafe rejoin on his part, as he was already involved in a wreck on the other side of the track before crossing the track to take out me and Glyn Cooper.
If you had no rear wing, just park it!
15.9 - Drivers that suffer an accident that results in the loss of the rear wing, a wheel, or the engine, will have to abandon the currently running session (Q1, Q2, or race) immediately.
Turn 1: I honestly thought I made a great pass. I had R. Walcott on my left and we were going into turn 1 clean. There was no more room for another car. But that is when I felt contact to my right rear tire and my car was turn into the grass. I believe simply Riera tried to dive into turn 1 and got his nose clipped and was out of control after that.
And back at you Mat. I want to clear the air as well. Mat I do not think of you as a bad driver. That was harsh. Please forgive. Quite the opposite.
My point here was that calling other peoples incident is a slippery slope and the Otto incident is an example of what will happen when we open that box. I do agree that turn 1 should be fully investigated. I was stoked to get 5th place till I watch the replay then I was bummed. Only a handful of drivers made through safe. The wording of your protest propped my ears up.
