I didnt expect to race Thursday so I never looked at the forum. Janos, I heard you were annoyed with me for signing on the server late and asking what car. I can fix the 'what car' part but the last second on the server is how it will be if I make it at all.
I was unaware of the difference in the Ferrari's power unit compared to the Honda I was using before. AmazeBalls!!
Heads up to anyone thinking about purchasing a DD unit from Fanatec. I like many others are having a problem with the wheel suddenly losing communication with and shutting down. The only way to solve this is to turn off and on the wheel and reboot the game. Fanatec has known about this problem for months and does not seem to know how to fix it. They are also very slow to respond to technical issues. Understaffed. On the positive side if any of you are thinking about a purchase involving Sim Racing Studio, they have the most responsive technical help that I have ever witnessed. They usually respond within hours of your email.
One other item, My first lap at Suzuka the screen started placing my seating position at 45 degrees to the side. I could reset it but it would immediately go back to placing me at an angle. very weird. Just wondered if anyone else has ever had this problem?
