Somebody report me
Hey, Sorry Sean if it seemed like I was squeezing you over. I felt like I was just ahead at the end of the straight and we just banged wheels. I wasnt trying to force you off track or anything. I did move over to you but wasnt trying to force you off. So again there was no intent only close racing.
Darren stayed in the middle, so I took the outside with DRS and was slowly catching him. He started driving me over to the grass, my LF on the white line. I moved off white line and then contact which slowed me down enough to get into Janos' DRS range.
I got whacked last year for the same thing Darren did. The only difference is I jammed the brakes on being on the receiving end this year.
I wanted to give you a heads up that what I'm seeing in your wording of your report isn't matching what I'm seeing in the incident scene. After you two get passed the Eau Rouge complex and onto the Kemmel Straight, Darren doesn't stay in the middle as you described. He in fact travels slightly leftward bit by bit all the way up the straight until you drive into the trailing edge of his rear-left tyre using the front edge of your front wing. You never had even 1mm of your car alongside Darren's car. Therefore I cannot view this as Darren "driving you over to the grass" as you described, but rather you driving yourself toward the grass. Since Darren only ever moved his car leftward up the straight while always being fully ahead of you, I can only see this as a legal and acceptable blocking move by Darren. Thus, the scene of events describes a different account compared to your wording in your report. You might consider withdrawing your claim before Janos hassles me to get my report turned in soon.
