The rear brakes seem to cool at a much slower rate than the fronts. May not be wrong, just a big challenge to get under control.

Yeah Adam is correct i guess you set the mod closer to the real car as regards how the brakes work but its also causing a fine line between understeer and or lockup. You can get the front brakes hotter though after playing with it. Feels a rougher ride guess just need to dial it in i guess

Yeah after alot more laps and adjustments the brakes are pretty good i hope you dont change them,
Like Cory said it seems to mimic what the real car would do. Also there quite interesting the way they are hotter on the front end going into the turn and with the rears cooling slower and the way the wear initially seems like its going one way based on bias but as the stint goes on goes more the other way. Thats a pretty cool feature and could add to the strategy depending on how you set them up.Also the Bias seems perfect once you get the balance just a finer line than before.

Hopefully you dont over react to early comments Janos and completely change it up.

One thing does need looking at is there dosnt seem to be a huge difference between the tires time and grip wise. Maybe needs to be a bit more of a spread just my 2 cents.

Real F1 can carry 145 liters of fuel since 2019.

I'd like us to have more fuel to use.

I don't think it would affect race results much, but might be even more fun, imo.

Ello we increased fuel tank size but negated it with more consumption on boost settings also the car seems excessively slippy with the reduced downforce even on softest tire maybe the track being green didnt help not sure?

Man that word "perplexed" haha, so dramatic.

The goal was to try to reduce the benefits of running high wings. Remember 2019 you could get away with high wings on almost all tracks.

The fuel consumption for boost 2 and 3 was increased because with the larger fuel tank you could almost run boost 3 the whole race.

Remember one thing, we are testing changes. For Australia we will most likely have a version that's somewhere in between the current and the Hockenheim versions.

Keep calm. We'll produce a nice mod this year.

Yes but you also pay the penalty of running higher wings.

Yes, we noticed that too. We already have an aero package for Australia. That one should be better balanced.

What we are trying to achieve is to have wings that make sense depending on the tracks so that you have to adjust your setup accordingly. Some people may chose lower downforce to get more top speed but sacrifice tire and brake wear. Others might take the opposite approach.

Last years mod allowed to essentially reuse the same setup on all tracks.

We'll learn more after this week and make the right decision for Australia.

Hey Elisee Jean, yes it is but most likely not for the version in Australia, unless your helmet is very simple.

Here's the donation info: http://www.simracinghub.com/rfactor-2/rf2-cars/863-donations
